1st Kalima (Kalima Tayyiba):

3rd Kalima (Kalima Tamjeed):

  • Arabic: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ وَلَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
  • English: “Glory be to Allah, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.”

Reciting the 3rd Kalima is a way for Muslims to express their belief in the greatness and oneness of Allah. It is often recited in various Islamic practices, including during Tasbih (praising Allah) and in daily supplications.

4th Kalima (Kalima Tauheed):

  • Arabic: لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
  • English: “There is no god but Allah, He is One, He has no partner, His is the dominion, and to Him belong all praise, and He is over everything competent.”

The 5th Kalima, known as the “Kalima Istighfar,” is a declaration of seeking forgiveness from Allah. It is a supplication seeking pardon and repentance for sins and mistakes. Here is the 5th Kalima in Arabic and its English translation:

5th Kalima (Kalima Istighfar):

  • Arabic: أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ رَبِّي مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ أَذْنَبْتُه وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ أَذْنَبْتُه تَنْزِيلِ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ أَنْتَ تَحْكِمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِي مَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ
  • English: “I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, from every sin I committed. I turn to You for forgiveness from all my sins, and I seek refuge in You from every sin I committed. I seek Your protection from all the evil I have done. O Allah! You alone can guide me in separating right from wrong, and only You can pass judgment on Your servants in the matters in which they disagree.”

The 6th Kalima, known as the “Kalima Radde Kufr,” is a declaration that renounces disbelief and reaffirms the belief in the oneness of Allah. It is a statement of rejection of disbelief and affirmation of faith. Here is the 6th Kalima in Arabic and its English translation:

6th Kalima (Kalima Radde Kufr):

  • Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ
  • English: “O Allah! I seek refuge in You from associating partners with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do not know.”
