Azan Ke Baad Ki Dua

Azan Ke Baad Ki Dua in Arabic, translation in Urdu and English

After the Islamic call to prayer (Azan or Adhan), it is recommended to recite specific supplications (duas) that express gratitude to Allah and invoke His blessings. The dua that is commonly recited after the Azan is known as the “Dua after Azan.” Here’s the dua in Arabic and its English translation:

Azan Ke Baad Ki Dua

Transliteration: Allahumma rabba hadhihid da’watit tammah, wassalatil qaimah, ati Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadhilah, wab’athhu maqaman mahmudan illathi wa’adtah, innaka la tukhliful mi’ad.

English Translation: O Allah, Lord of this complete call and of the established prayer, bestow upon Muhammad the means and the exalted position, and raise him to the praised station You have promised him. Verily, You do not neglect Your promises.

Urdu Translation:

This dua is a way of acknowledging the importance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and seeking Allah’s blessings for him. It is also a way of asking Allah to grant the Prophet the praised station (Al-Maqam Al-Mahmoud), which is a high status that has been promised to him in the Hereafter. Reciting this dua after the Azan is a recommended practice and is often recited silently by individuals after hearing the call to prayer.
